Hold a funeral collection

Asking friends and family to make a donation in memory of your loved one at a funeral or memorial service is a beautiful way to honour their memory and celebrate their life while helping to ensure that no one faces kidney disease alone in the future.

If you'd like to support Kidney Care UK at a funeral or memorial service, we are very happy to offer advice on arranging collections.

We provide Kidney Care UK collection boxes if you wish to ask for donations in lieu of flowers and can also send you Kidney Care UK pins and badges to offer to those who generously donate.

Collect donations in the way that suits you best

Set up a free tribute page online to honour your loved one’s memory and collect donations.

Create your MuchLoved tribute

In-person donations in memory of your loved one can be paid in as a one-time gift by phone, post or online.

Include a request in a funeral notice or order of service to share details of how donations will be collected.

Consider including our downloadable QR code for people to make a simple donation online.

A QR code (quick response code) is like a barcode. Your phone will scan the QR code below using your camera and take you to the Kidney Care UK donation page so you can donate.

  • Set up a tribute page

An online tribute page can be a wonderful opportunity to remember your loved one with others.

  • Remember them with a gift in your Will

Gifts in Wills fund 30% of our services, from our Support Line to counselling and patient grants. We simply could not reach the number of people we do without these generous gifts.

  • Fundraise in memory

Our work is supported by the hundreds of people who run, craft, bake and more to raise money every year. From bake sales to skydives, there's plenty of ways to get involved.
