The Recite Me web accessibility toolbar makes the Kidney Care UK website accessible, whether you’d like to increase or decrease text size, change background colours, translate text into different languages or hear it read aloud.

To launch the Recite Me Web accessibility toolbar you will need to click on the Accessibility & Language Support button at the bottom left corner of your screen. This will then launch the toolbar, which will appear at the top of the page.
To change the language of the Kidney Care UK website, select the 'Translation' icon, which is sixth icon on the Recite Me toolbar. This will produce a drop-down list of all the languages that Recite Me offers. You can also search for available languages. Find the language that you want from the list and click on it. The site will then be converted to that language.

To create an MP3 file, click on the yellow 'Download Audio' icon, which is the third icon from the end of the Recite Me toolbar. There will be a prompt which says 'Please select some text'. Right-click and hold to highlight the text you would like downloaded as an MP3. When you release, the MP3 will automatically download. Make sure that your browser settings allow you to download files.
To disable the auto-read function click the green icon, the first icon on the Recite Me toolbar. This brings up the Text to Speech menu. You can turn auto-read off by unticking 'Play Automatically'.
To close the Recite Me toolbar, click the 'X' icon on the far right corner of the toolbar.
