Lakeland Dialysis Centre, Cockermouth, Cumbria
Lakeland Dialysis Centre is located in the heart of the Lake District in Cumbria. Operating since 2004, the centre offers high-quality care. The unit is equipped with four HDF machines, fully reclining chairs, and onsite parking, meaning you can arrive knowing you’re in safe hands.
The historic Cockermouth marketplace and Norman castle are just outside the centre of Cockermouth. Wordsworth House, birthplace of William Wordsworth, is also nearby.
Outside of the town itself, the market town Keswick and its Neolithic era stone circle are in easy reach with good transport connections to the centre.
Lake District National Park, England’s largest national park, is only a 15-minute drive away. Providing the opportunity to reconnect to nature with some truly breathtaking views of lakes, mountains, and forests, it’s a definite must see.

The unit has eight stations with fully reclining chairs and parking is available directly outside the unit. It also offers TVs, free snacks, and a personal call bell system.
The centre is a 10-minute drive, or 25-minute bus ride away, from the centre of the coastal resort town of Bournemouth. Home to sandy beaches, Grade II listed gardens as well as year-round events, there’s something for everyone.
Mermaid Centre, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk

You can enjoy refreshments of tea and biscuits or a cold drink from the one of the four stations set up in front of garden views. The centre also has free car parking, disabled toilets, and wheelchair access.
In close proximity, Wells & Walsingham Light Railway offers a half-an-hour trip through the local Norfolk countryside. Warham Camp Iron Age Fort, Holkham Hall and Creake Abbey boast history-rich outings, and are all nearby.
