We are so grateful to every single one of our supporters for providing a lifeline for kidney patients and their families during their lowest and loneliest times. Here are a few of the amazing, creative ways you are raising funds and awareness for our community.

  • Running in memory

    After his father passed away, Robert chose to take on a 10K running challenge in his memory. With support from fellow workers at the North West Ambulance Service and NHS 111, he raised almost £200!

  • Simon walked 2000 miles to raise £2,000!

    "It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to have walked all those miles for Kidney Care UK and for all the patients, doctors, nurses, staff and anyone affected by kidney disease."

  • Meet our collection champions!

    Our fantastic volunteers Eric, Beverley and Sorcha raised more than £500 with their collection boxes at our annual Asda Collection Day in Asda Portadown to help support local families affected by CKD.

  • Taking on a new challenge for Kidney Care UK

    Kat is taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon and has raised over £1,000! This is her first half marathon and she’s taking it on while awaiting a kidney transplant to help raise awareness.

  • Meet Alison, Betty and the John Hunter Accordion Band

    Thank you to our friends and longstanding supporters Alison Jennett, Betty Stewart BEM and the John Hunter Accordion Band Mountnorris, who recently raised £553 to support our community.

  • Over £1,000 raised through festive fun!

    Thanks to Liz, Emma, Ed, Natilly, Doreen, the team at Gil’s Tearooms, everyone at The Queens Head in Wolverly and Santa himself! Guests enjoyed visiting Santa in his cave and decorating cookies.

  • Running for Kidney Care UK

    Ava and Poppy completed the Bournemouth Junior 5K and 10K last October, raising an amazing £380 between them. They already can’t wait to do it again this year!

  • Running to raise awareness

    Rebecca took part in a Santa 10K run for her mum and all those on dialysis. She has already raised £110 for Kidney Care UK and plans to continue fundraising by taking on more running challenges soon.

  • Superstar Lyla

    Lyla set herself the challenge of completing a 7km run at just 6 years old, in support of her auntie who has just had a double transplant. She has raised £300 (and counting) for Kidney Care UK!

  • Becky's Manchester Marathon raises £1,600!

    "My dad, R'Gaz, often describes his kidneys as 'super kidneys'... turns out they're not so super! He's starting dialysis and we have everything crossed he can get a shiny new working kidney soon."

  • Dean's Drayton half marathon success

    Dean raised an amazing £563 for the kidney community! He chose to run for Kidney Care UK on behalf of his son and all babies who are born with kidney issues.

  • Cheerleading support to raise £615!

    Alisha and the Portsmouth Phoenix cheerleaders hosted a bingo night. "It’s so important that those with kidney failure have a sense of community through their journey thanks to Kidney Care UK."
