Congratulations Esra and Ruban!
In April 2022 Esra and Ruban tied the knot and raised £2,454 for us. They first met at the Kidney Care UK Young Adult Kidney Weekend. To celebrate they set up a fundraiser on their wedding day. -

Baking to support kidney patients
To celebrate World Kidney Day, Kidney Care UK supporter Trisha hosted a bake sale from her front door and raised over £300 by preparing an amazing selection of tasty treats. -
Going the extra 100km!
Ramesh completed the London to Brighton Ultramarathon for his mother, who is living with kidney failure. He completed the challenge in an impressive 26 hours and 22 minutes, taking 150,000 steps! -
Heather’s Roe Park Ramble
Heather organised a Park Ramble in her local community, including Fudge the pug and his stroller! This raised vital awareness for Kidney Care UK and over £300 to support our kidney community. -
London-Brighton 100km: Liz raises over £5,400!
Liz is a living kidney donor. "It's the hardest challenge I have ever taken part in but knowing funds raised will go towards supporting patients makes the pain, sweat and tears worth it!" -
Promoting our services

Marie's 50-mile cycle
Marie raised over £1,700 by cycling for us in memory of her husband, Donal O'Donoghue, our former Chair of Trustees, who devoted his life to improving the lives of people with kidney disease. -
Raising £2,442 running in fancy dress!
Dave and his daughter completed the Donor Run at the British Transplant Games 2023. Katherine received a kidney transplant only four months before but wanted to run alongside her dad.
