April is a kidney patient and built up to the Brighton Marathon. "To be able to complete 26.2 miles with CKD, anaemia and a knee the medics told me I couldn’t run it on is an incredible achievement." -

Stephanie hosted a King Charles III Coronation street party to raise awareness of kidney disease. As a kidney patient, she wanted to give back to those who supported her through two transplants. -
Canoeing from Fort William to Inverness
Danny donated his kidney to his wife, Marie. Seeing the impact of kidney failure first hand, he took on a 5-day canoe challenge for Kidney Care UK. His 100km wild camping journey has raised £1,451! -
In memory of their brother and son, Chats
After battling kidney failure from the age of 15, Chats sadly passed away aged 47. Through car boot sales and craft markets, Simone and Carole have raised £2,000! “Giving back is very rewarding." -
£1,031 raised through music
John and his band Da Management held a gig to support us. “I have FSGS, and have been lucky enough to receive first class care. My CKD is well controlled at present, but others are not so fortunate.” -
Congratulations Esra and Ruban!
In April 2022 Esra and Ruban tied the knot and raised £2,454 for us. They first met at the Kidney Care UK Young Adult Kidney Weekend. To celebrate they set up a fundraiser on their wedding day. -

We are proud to have been selected as Countryside Services Charity of the Year alongside Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. Fundraising activities have included raffles, coffee mornings, calendar sales. -
Baking to support kidney patients
To celebrate World Kidney Day, Kidney Care UK supporter Trisha hosted a bake sale from her front door and raised over £300 by preparing an amazing selection of tasty treats. -
Going the extra 100km!
Ramesh completed the London to Brighton Ultramarathon for his mother, who is living with kidney failure. He completed the challenge in an impressive 26 hours and 22 minutes, taking 150,000 steps!
