Grainne Walsh

Gráinne is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include young adult health; she has collaborated with colleagues nationally and internationally, working to improve care of young transplant recipients.


Gráinne’s research interests include the impact of transplantation on families & treatment adherence. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the University of Cape Town, working with Nursing Masters students.


Gráinne was previously Director of the International Transplant Nurses Society, has sat on Committees of the International Paediatric Transplant Association and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Kidney Care.


She is joint team manager of the Evelina London VIPs and has been to every Transplant Games since 1996.
