Summary

Our names are Rachel Kettle, Hema Chaplin and Paula Ormandy. We are health services researchers from the University of Salford, working alongside University of Exeter.

This project is part of larger National Institute of Health Research funded research to help patients with early-stage chronic kidney disease (before kidney failure) and their families get better information and education.

The research has two parts:

  • We look at all the evidence to see what works best
  • We talk to patients, families and healthcare professionals to hear their ideas and experiences.

We’re inviting you to take part in the second part - sharing your thoughts with us. We want to learn what information and education you have received, what was useful and what wasn't, through completing a survey that consists of 27 questions. This will take roughly 30-40 minutes to complete. There is also the opportunity to take part in an interview (face-to-face or online) instead if you prefer, also in a different language.

Please email Hema [email protected] for more information.
