Living Well on Haemodialysis: a course to help people adjust to haemodialysis

A team of researchers from the University of Derby and the University of Nottingham are looking for 10 people with experience of regular haemodialysis for chronic kidney disease (CKD) to test specially designed materials to help people live better on hospital dialysis.

The study team have produced a series of online video materials they hope can help people to live and cope better with dialysis. As part of the development process and before these are formally evaluated and made more widely available, the study team are testing how these are presented and delivered to potential users.

Taking part in the exercise will involve spending some time each week over a four-week period watching online videos and practising the techniques and exercises they describe. Participants will also complete some standard questionnaires before trying the exercises and materials.

If this sounds like something that you or someone you know might like to participate in, please access the following weblink below for more information about the study and guidance on how to take part.
