Aim of the study
The aim of this study is to understand the experiences of people with kidney disease, and partners, undergoing sexual health assessment and to determine how best to carry out sexual health assessment in clinical practice.

Qualitative (Online Interview via MS Teams or Zoom).
Who is able to participate?
Individuals diagnosed with CKD stages 3-5, over 18 years old, living in the UK or Ireland, and speak English. In addition, to partners of these individuals.

Summary
Kidney disease has been shown to have a possible negative impact on sexual health and sexual wellbeing. Sexual health and wellbeing are typically not discussed by healthcare professionals and therefore, support for patients is less likely.
This project aims to understand the experiences of people with kidney disease, and partners and how they believe that sexual healthcare can be implemented within renal healthcare to improve care in this area for patients with kidney disease.
As participant is voluntary you can abstain from answers any question you wish during the interview.
