Home haemodialysis

Haemodialysis (HD) is a form of treatment for chronic kidney disease. It can be performed at home where it is known as ‘home HD’, in a hospital or a specialist dialysis unit. This booklet explains how home HD works so you can decide if it is the right option for you.
