2025 marks Kidney Care UK's 50th anniversary and to celebrate we have one very special and exciting fundraising challenge booked and waiting for willing participants – the Dorset Plane Pull on Monday 25 August!
What's involved? It's quite simple.
Teams of 20 people enter to pull a Boeing 737 weighing in at 35,000 kg a distance of 50 metres to raise money for the charity. We have reserved two team spaces so are now looking to recruit 40 willing participants to get involved.
All you will need is:
- a pair of suitable shoes like trainers
- ID
- to be relatively fit and healthy (without any known health conditions, or back issues and not currently pregnant)
Please note:
- Pulling is limited to the able bodied, as it’s very strenuous.
- You do pull at your own risk (you will need to sign a waiver form)
It will be a brilliant day, as well as a fantastic fundraiser for the charity.
We are asking all participants to commit to raising £150 for Kidney Care UK so we can continue to provide our vital support services.
