Once you complete the questions, you will be able to see how much you are entitled to in benefits under the current system. This is based on the current system and does not guarantee entitlement.

You can view how much you are entitled to in a week, 4 weeks, or monthly. The amount will be broken down into income support and Council Tax Support.

You can also see how much you would be entitled to under Universal Credit. If your results indicate you may be better-off under Universal Credit, the Benefits Calculator will give you some additional information about what would trigger a move to Universal Credit.

We also search for other entitlements you may qualify for and link to information about these. For instance, some people are eligible for free NHS prescriptions.

You can also calculate how much better off you would be in work by entering the details of any job you are thinking about. We will take this information about calculate how much you will earn after tax and if you qualify for in work benefits.
