Mike has a career in institutional global asset management spanning over 34 years. He is the managing director for the UK subsidiary of Western Asset Management, a firm he joined in 1996 as international chief investment officer.
Mike actively engages with clients on investment solutions and advises on key drivers of the investment management industry and regulatory trends. He is passionate about sustainable investing and actively involved in developing best practice in ESG investment integration. Since 2014, Mike has also chaired the FTSE Fixed Income advisory committee which oversees and advises on the operation of FTSE’s bond indices.
