Laurie Cuthbert is Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications at Kidney Care UK.
He has spent the last decade working in leadership positions in the third sector, raising millions for charity and leading on national awareness campaigns to support acutely disadvantaged people across the UK.
His life changed after his youngest son became critically ill as a baby, which opened his eyes to the power of philanthropy and the wonderful work done by charities to support the most vulnerable in society.
He is passionate about social mobility and eradicating inequalities in the healthcare system. He is a Special Advisor to Yes Futures, a charity that exists to empower disadvantaged 8-16 year olds to develop self-esteem and make ambitious choices, leading to success at school and flourishing future lives.
